Gyms, health studios to permit teams of 5 from July 12; class sizes to go as much as 50, Sport Information & High Tales
SINGAPORE – Indoor, mask-off sports and exercise activities are allowed from Monday (12th, the Ministry’s task force announced on Wednesday (July 7th).
The ceiling for indoor and outdoor classes will also be increased from 30 to 50 people, including the teacher.
From June 12, indoor masking activities were allowed to resume in groups of two as the second phase of the reopening of the economy began. These activities have been on hold since May 8, following the introduction of stricter Covid-19 measures.
All employees who work in gyms and gyms where customers are exposed will undergo a regular 14-day Fast and Easy Tests (FET) program, which will be mandatory starting July 15.
By easing the measures, up to 250 fans will be admitted to the Singapore Premier League venues when the competition resumes on July 17, the Singapore Football Association (FAS) said in a press release on Wednesday.
However, fans will only be admitted to the venues with evidence of a negative test result for those who are not fully vaccinated.
You must provide a negative Covid-19 test result, which can be either the polymerase chain reaction test (PCR) or the rapid antigen test (ART). The PCR test must have been performed within 14 days of the game, while the ART must have been administered within 24 hours of the end of the event.
Those who received both doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech / Comirnaty or Moderna vaccine can be admitted without a negative Covid-19 test result.
However, vaccinated people will only be allowed to play if the second dose has been received at least 14 days beforehand.
