Health knowledgeable explains the right way to reset your physique in 2022

The founder of Get Healthy U TV spoke to KARE on Saturday morning about how people can achieve their health goals in 2022.

MINNEAPOLIS – With many people making New Year’s resolutions for a healthier life in 2022, the co-founder of Get Healthy U TV, a streaming service of workout videos that people can make at home, discussed during KARE11 Saturday how people put their bodies in this Year can be reset.

Chris Freytag, fitness expert and co-founder of Get Healthy U TV, explained that everything starts with small steps, rather than making drastic changes all at once.

Starting with food, Freytag said people should avoid additives and fast food and include more fruits and vegetables in their diet. Then concentrate and pay attention to their hunger and drink more water.

For exercise, people should do what makes them happy, be it running, dancing or something else, as long as they keep their bodies moving, Freytag said. She added that strength training is the secret to aging gracefully, and short workouts help.
