Man Metropolis Boss Pep Guardiola Handed Main Health Enhance Forward of Leeds United Conflict

The Premier League champions greeted Marcelo Bielsa’s team at the Etihad Stadium mid-week after a narrow win over the Wolves at the weekend when Raheem Sterling’s penalty in the second half secured all three points for the Sky Blues.

Pep Guardiola’s men will try to score seven Premier League wins against the Whites who caused big surprises last season in east Manchester with a 2-1 late win thanks to the Stuart Dallas winner.

Guardiola said in his press conference after the game on Saturday that Ilkay Gündogan had “a lot to struggle” with back problems.

However, the Catalan coach previewed his team’s midweek game in his press conference on Monday and confirmed that Gündogan is fit against Leeds on Tuesday. There are no injury concerns for Manchester City with the exception of Ferran Torres who is expected to return to training in the coming weeks.

Gundogan, who kicked off Manchester City’s 2-1 win over West Ham a few weeks ago, has scored three goals and two assists in 18 games in all competitions this season.

Alongside Bernardo Silva and Rodri, the 31-year-old is an outstanding figure in midfield this season – a trio that has proven to be almost indispensable for Guardiola’s team since August.

Leeds have got off to a disappointing start to the season as they played ahead of their game against Manchester City on Aug.

The Peacocks suffered a heartbreaking loss to Chelsea at the weekend when Jorginho’s added time penalty helped Thomas Tuchel’s side win 3-2 at Stamford Bridge.

City, who drew Villarreal in the Champions League last 16 on Monday, can continue their rich streak in the league with a win against West Yorkshire on Tuesday.
