When it comes to her view of beauty, Padma Lakshmi firmly believes that we are what we eat. “Beauty comes from what you put into your body, not just your skin,” the Indian-born star told Vogue. According to Yahoo, 51-year-old Lakshmi’s diet consists mainly of four main types of foods, most of which are plant-based: fruits, vegetables, basic carbohydrates, and lean proteins. In addition, Lakshmi combines her healthy meals with plenty of water and a “secret” juice. While Lakshmi has a daily eating routine that she likes to stick to, there are certain foods that she always makes an exception to. According to Glamor, there are a few foods the former model is “powerless” over, including pizza and salt and vinegar chips. “Anything salty or crispy or both,” she revealed. “I also make this fried chicken that you can’t like with cayenne pepper and green mango powder in the batter. It’s crispy, spicy, and sour.”
